Case Study: Incentive Travel
Our client wanted to reward its European offices with a weekend away that focused on celebration and informal socialising. Themed as “a big get together”, our client’s objective was for its 60 staff members from its four different offices to get to know each other in a casual setting while at the same time letting their hair down after what had been a successful and intense working year.
Flights and trains were arranged from London, Switzerland, Paris and Germany to transport staff members to the world’s largest beer festival: Volkfest in Munich. Octoberfest is a 16-day festival that is a very important part of Bavarian culture. It is a fantastic event that offers excellent entertainment, an informal setting and, with the focus on socialising, a chance for these colleagues to really get to know each other: the perfect mix of reward and relationship-building.
Staff stayed in several ideally-located hotels in the area. A great deal of logistical organisation was involved in this incentive event, given the size of the crowds and the need to keep the experience stream-lined and stress-free for all guests involved.
Staff had access to six VIP tables at one of Munich’s top 10 breweries. The tent was decorated beautifully and all guests were armed with beer tokens.
