COMPANY BRIEF:

The London division of this global Fintech company wanted to incentivise their top performers with a bucket list of a destination. The brief required us to create a group travel experience that would offer something for everyone, engage participants physically and emotionally, and take them into an environment that would contrast starkly with the urban environment of their office in London.

THE INCENTIVE:

After considerable discussion within our team, our proposal was a one-week Safari at the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

The Kruger has some of the most comfortable safari accommodation in the world. This meant we could combine a magical destination with a little luxury and VIP treatment to make it the ultimate incentive trip.

The six winners were flown business class from London to Johannesburg, where they caught a connecting flight to Skukuza inside the park. They were greeted by their guide for the week at the airport and taken to their individual lodges, each of which opened onto a private deck with a spectacular lake view.

The safari in this area is world famous for offering the big 5 experience, and our guests where not disappointed. The wildlife was incredible. There were bush walks with rangers, evening safaris, and mesmorising sunsets. Paricipants had plenty of downtime in which they could enjoy their luxury lodges.

As well as being a once-in-a-lifetime experience, this trip was a fantastic team building exercise, an opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth, and a genuine reward for these top performers, who returned with a sense of recognition and the motivation to deliver peak performance.

 

The feedback from our staff was that the trip was breathtaking. This was the first at Fintech that we have used an incentive and reward programme and we will certainly be investing in it again. We saw a huge improvement in performance in the lead up to the trip and our top performers returned feeling highly motivated and with a renewed sense of commitment to the company’s goals.
